The story behind Maria Cruz Jewelry
I was born in Teófilo Otoni in Mynas Gerais, a city in Brazil that is known worldwide for its gemstones.
Even as a child, I found peace in nature. I spent my childhood exploring the surroundings, collecting stones and crystals, and being fascinated by their shapes, colors, and the beauty that nature creates.
That feeling has followed me throughout my entire life.
Today I live in Sweden, but I still choose a life close to nature and water. I find inspiration in the stillness, in nature, thru yoga and meditation, and in the moments when I get to slow down and reconnect with myself.
Over the years, I have built a career as a real estate investor in Brazil, which has given me both stability and quality of life. But deep down, there was always a dream – to create something meaningful, something that reflects who I am.
From that dream, Maria Cruz Jewelry was born.
The brand is a reflection of my history, my childhood, and the strong connection I have always had to nature. Each collection is inspired by my memories and the unique Brazilian gemstones that have been a part of my life since I was a child.
